Redwings Horse Sanctuary, an accredited 501(c)3 nonprofit horse rescue organization for over 30 years, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Humanity Wine Project.

Humanity Wine Project has three current labels, Innocence, Faithful and Fortitude.  50% of the profits from the sale of these wines are released to nonprofit partners that support and care for children, animals and health. Redwings is excited to be joining the Faithful label, under the banner for animal welfare, to help support our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, adopt, and offer sanctuary, to abused, abandoned and neglected equines.

Humanity Wine Project is a public benefit company based in Paso Robles, CA. Their wines are sourced from select small growers and producers in California. Humanity Wine Project was founded by Steven and Kelly Jones, who met while attending classes at the Institute for Culinary Education to receive their accreditation as Sommeliers.  They bonded over a shared love of wine, married in 2019 and moved to Paso Robles in 2021. Now, as certified Sommeliers, Steven and Kelly have combined their knowledge and passion for wine with a strong commitment to giving back to the local community.

Sales of Humanity Wine are available online through HumanityWine.com, Project Ally memberships, as well as select restaurants and retailers.  Redwings hopes that customers will select our nonprofit to benefit from their wine purchases under the Faithful label. The entire % of sales profits donated to Redwings from Humanity Wine Project will go directly to the care of the horses and burros at the sanctuary. Please check out HumanityWine.com and support Redwings. Find out more about Redwings at: www.redwingshorsesanctuary.org.

Marilyn and I have been associated with Redwings Horse Sanctuary for over twenty-one years. We started to support Redwings shortly after it was founded and have served as volunteers, officers, and board members. We have visited the sanctuary to view with compassion the horses who had been rescued from dire situations and rehabilitated and restored to good health.
“We also helped in the relocation of the sanctuary to Paso Robles, California. The wonderful care given to the animals by the staff and volunteers of Redwings has been the driving force in our continuing to support the mission of the organization. I am sure the new facility will enhance the care of the animals and we wish Redwings continued success.

Paso Here We Are

Prior to moving to its new spread in 2021, Redwings Horse Sanctuary led a capital campaign called “Paso Here We Come” to pay for its new permanent facility. Even though Redwings has arrived in Paso Robles, the fundraising campaign continues with a target of $1 million. “Now that we’ve completed the move, we expect to have additional volunteers and to be able to offer more guided tours and educational outreach to the public. With our new proximity to the San Luis Obispo County community, we anticipate more interest in Redwings, which hopefully turns into more fundraising support,” says Linelle Soxman, a board director.
