6th NatureTrack Film Festival!
Saturday, Oct, 12th is a BIG night for this year’s 6th NatureTrack Film Festival and NatureTrack wants YOU to be part of it!
At 7.45 pm NatureTrack is hosting the World Premiere of the new PBS film, Animal Pride – Nature’s Coming Out Story – a journey of scientific discovery and the exploration of queerness and sexual diversity in nature.
NatureTrack is delighted to show this incredible film to the world for the first time and are even more thrilled to have the film’s director, Rio Mitchell, alongside the host of the film, Connel Bradwell in attendance all the way from Canada.
But wait! There’s more!
Screening alongside Animal Pride will be the World Premiere of the UCSB Coastal Media Project short film, Ploverize. This delightfully funny film takes a look at the tiny Snowy Plover and its relationship with the people of Lompoc and Space X.
And if that’s not enough after the screening, NatureTrack will have a rip-roaring party in our NTFF Festival hub with live music from local brass band The Brasscals, food courtesy of On the Alley, and an open bar with Titos Cocktails, M Special Beer and Pali Wine.

It’s a vital gateway to Santa Barbara County’s ‘great outdoors’ for our youth, many of whom don’t have the access my generation may have taken for granted. Transportation is NatureTrack’s largest cost, and it keeps rising. Your donations help fund field trips and provide more Freedom Trax.
•$7,500 funds a field trip for 100 K-12 students
•$6,500 buys a new Freedom Trax
Any donation amount is appreciated to support our mission. Field trips fill up quickly each year, highlighting our need for more volunteers.
